Ratcheting isn’t just for that authentic Berlin sound. In this piece I use NSYNTHI’s ratchet module to create a random sounding striking of a bell which nevertheless sticks within the rhythmic framework. The bells get a real boost from the very slightest FM. The falling minor arpeggio gets a wider sound introducing delay to the RH channel through the filters.
