Now that we can share pages, I present to you my grid controller template!

Basically, the whole first page is covered in pushbuttons that can fade between 4 different settings or presets. A bit like a Kaoss Pad.

In this second patch, Awe into Whatever, the mapping is slightly different, making it work better with noisier stuff. Instead of each side being 100%, the max values are mapped to the corner and decrease radially.

The patch made with this grid is inspired the Landscape Stereo Field. the grid triggers VCAs of two Bit Modulator modules as well as a Diffuser and an inverted copy of the dry signal. It’s noisy af and quite a lot of fun.

The first page is your grid
Blue is the inverted clean signal
Magenta is the diffuser signal
Cyan is an OR bit modulator
White is an AND bit modulator (they cancel each other out… and give you back a clean signal, perfectly out of phase with blue)

This combo gives you a lot of texture options already. The you can pan each effect with the keyboards on page 1.

On Page2 you can find attack and release control for each VCA and a feedback level.
The left footswitch triggers the feedback.

MIDI controls parameters of the diffuser, but it’s kinda sketchy as it doesn’t respond that well to CV changes.
