autosymphony

This is a weird one: it started as a test of the Repelzen Re-Win quantizer functions and slowly developed into a somewhat “simulated” endlessly playing and permanently changing classical style symphony – sort of. Its main characteristics are defined by 5 chords, 7 root notes and 3 octaves which are all sometimes changed and sometimes kept randomly. A complex function changes the clock speed, sometimes rapidly, sometimes keeps it steady for a while. Each voice is either randomly or based on clock speed switched on or off. This results in a sound output similar to a classical style symphony while at the same time it oddly sounds strangly unfamiliar. It’s fun to let it run for quite a while to receive surprising new chord runs and expression solos. As I said, it’s a weird one. I don’t think I’ll ever finish it, let alone, know what would determine it to be finished. Have fun and I’d be happy to receive any sort of comment!
