Insert Mode Program – Series Routing – Program MIX 40-45% (via EXP1). Shimmer into Instant Phaser. Programmed for stereo use.

It’s no string synthesizer, but a nice background pad nonetheless. And thankfully, no divide-down oscillators. EXP1 sweeps Program Mix, Pitch Decay, Pitch B & Mid Decay in Shimmer, with the Instant Phaser LFO Rate & Width.

All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:

* [P] HotKnob (+/-) – change Shimmer Size and Instant Phase Source & Mode. [default = 50]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Shimmer Decay, Low Decay & High Decay. [default = 75].
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) – change Instant Phaser ENV Release time & Age. [default = 60].

Other options include RETRIGGER LFO or maximum Feedback in Instant Phaser, momentary or latching Shimmer Pitch Decay=Pitch (INF), or latching Pitch Decay=Pitch+Verb (FREEZE).
