Aquatic Ambience

AQUATIC AMBIENCE

A semi-generative ambient patch designed to invoke the serinity and otherwordliness of the ocean. The technique for the pad was inspired by Omri Cohen (who honestly instructs most of my techniques).

To-Do:

Keep working to optimize the balance between the various voices.

Find a better voice for the chords. Normally, I like the Modern VCO from Surge XT, but not in this case.

Keep working on the whale song voice. It’s close to what I wanted but not quite there.

Brilliant work – simply gorgeous! I’m going to have to spend some time studying your EQ setup and how you’ve patched it through the mixer – never seen this before. Is that EQ effectively shaping the master or just specific tracks? I’ve no idea how that Poly Insert/Aux/Group section works.

Anyway, this is an amazing patch – great job and thanks for sharing it w/ us

Obo, sorry I didn’t see this sooner. This semester got crazy busy. The EQ connects with the mixer and you can apply it to the master fader, any of the individual tracks, or to groups of tracks. It’s extremely versatile.
