Andre’s EDP Looper

A looper based on a delay line. This is inspired by one of Andre La Fosse’s loopers which I discovered on YouTube. The patch for this is not available, so I attempted to recreate it. It utilises the REPLACE and MULTIPLY functions found on the ‘Echoplex Digital Pro Plus’ looper.

Controls:

Left stompswitch/Midi Fswitch1:
Record on/off (latching)

Midi Fswitch2:
Record on/off (momentary)

Centre stompswitch/Midi Fswitch3:
Replace

Right stompswitch/Midi Fswitch4:
Tap Tempo (ie, multiply)

Footpedal:
Feedback

The 4 yellow buttons on bottom row indicate Midi switch status. The 2 green LEDS above this are the state of Midi FS 1 Flip-Flop, ie, whether record is on – latched.
The brightness of red LED on bottom row is proportional to feedback level.
The 3 blue buttons on bottom row indicate status of stompswitches 1-3.

The purple buttons (row 3) are the audio mixer. Gain 1 is input gain, gain 2 is loop gain.

The orange buttons (row 2) are the delay.

Top row white buttons are in and outs. Last white button sets overall gain level.

Edit : softer punch-ins can be obtained by editing all the switches on page 2 – set fades to on.
