Insert Mode Program – Series Routing – Program MIX 50%. UltraTap into Polyphony. Programmed for stereo use.
Iceberg straight ahead. Let’s just finish the set. Slowly building quasi-loopers, introducing harmonized lines that fade out with loop decay. EXP1 sweeps Taps, Taper, Manual, and Speed-Rise-Release in UltraTap, plus Detune A & B + Pan A & B in Polyphony.
All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:
* [P] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust UltraTap Length, Feedback & Slurm with Polyphony Delay A & B. [default = 75]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust UltraTap Spread, Feedback, Slurm & Chop (Type). [default = 75].
Interesting landing points:
* [HK-A=0] Taps with deep modulation & diffusion, unprocessed by the Chop Machine.
* [HK-A=25] Variable speed short bowing effects.
* [HK-A=50] Manual fade-in of taps using EXP1.
* [HK-A=75] Default. Long stroke bowing.
* [HK-A=100] Abrupt staccato blips.
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) – change Polyphony Feedback A & B. [default = 25].
Other options include RETRIGGER UltraTap LFO, latching & momentary Polyphony voice FREEZE, a change to (+/-) 1 octave in Polyphony, and a momentary increase to 64 Taps in UltraTap.
See the Program Notes for more information on the PERFORM switch mappings.
