Ambient Looper 3

Ambient generative patch with some pads, slightly Bladerunner style leads, and a few channels of guitar effects and looping.
This one uses quite a few VST plugins through Host FX (Unfiltered Audio Triad, Valhalla Shimmer/Supermassive, Ambient Reverb 4 and Soundhack Bubbler++) and also one sound from Spitfire Labs.
In the video, the first loop is processed through Bubbler++ granular delay VST and the Portland Weather VCV delay module, the next loop has the guitar synth pedal through a few wet reverbs (XFX, and Dintree VCV modules and Shimmer VST all chained in series) and the last loop is harmonised with the TC Electronic Quintessence pedal. After that, I’m just improvising badly over the top, and mixing different parts in and out!

this one doesn’t work due to so many missing host plugins (as well as the audio being blocked through host if a plugin is missing). it’s too bad host doesn’t offer an “located missing plugin” opetion. i have many of those plugins you mention but because mine aren’t in the exact location as they are on your on hd, host just stupidly just loads up empty for everybody.

Sorry, not sure I can help with that. I could go through the patch and tell you the order they’re in? Most are on send FX via the MindMeld mixer, I wouldn’t have thought it would stop any audio being produced. The generative parts are all using free modules (BogAudio, Vult, Squinky Labs) so you should hear something at least. Let me know if I can help anyway. Will upload a video soon so you can hear how it’s supposed to sound.

So just downloaded and it seems that there are two paid for plugins: Host and Host-FX both by VCV and are $30 each. Just for people to know of in the future.

Thanks for pointing that out, there’s a more detailed description on the YouTube video. Other commercial plugins used are Valhalla Shimmer and Unfiltered Audio’s Triad (which is amazing).
The synth parts should still work, but effects are such an important part of the patch that it wouldn’t sound the same without those (although most of the FX are on the guitar, synths are mainly going through regular VCV modules apart from the Ambient Reverb VST, and you could substitute Plataeu there). I’m not actually sure it’s worth sharing really complex patches like this, almost everyone has a different audio interface, and a different collection of modules.
Surprisingly, a few people have downloaded it! I’d be interested if anyone could do anything with it.

    Cheers.
