Updated to add new PolySynth base settings.
A Program List with all 64 current algorithms, and 35 INIT Program slots for future expansion and copy/paste. This is what I put together for my own use when programming from scratch. So what constitutes ‘base settings’ are my own subjective choices.
NOTE: For use in Dual Routing mode, see the conversion process in this link:
All Insert Mode Programs have Preset A loaded with ‘base algorithm’ settings, in series with Preset B (open for pairing with a 2nd algorithm). For those algorithms more appropriate to a Preset B placement (reverb, etc.), swap A and B in the upper right of H90 Control, or press Routing – Quick Knob 1 on the H90 hardware.
The alphanumeric naming convention I used pretty much assures that (once loaded), these will be the first Programs / Presets that pop up in any of the 64 algorithms.
All of the HotKnob, HotSwitch, expression, aux, MIDI, & Performance mappings have been stripped out of these Programs / Presets. The whole idea: start from the basics, add exactly what you want, with no ‘hidden’ surprises found in existing Programs / Presets.
All algorithms here stick to the same general setup:
* Tempo Mode @ 120 BPM.
* Click Tempo Off to work in mS. / Hz.
* 1/4 and 1/2 Note values? as a rule.
* Some Whole & 1/16th Note values (reverb decay / pre-delay, etc.).
* Program Input / Output Levels @ 0.0 dB.
* Program Mix @ 100%. Tails On.
* Most remaining values are set to median levels.
If I considered any parameter to be a distinct characteristic of a given algorithm (Mod Delay modulation, as one example), I added baseline values to those parameters. Otherwise, I went with the most neutral values.
Modify, experiment, mix and match, copy and paste, create and recreate, then save your own new Program or Preset from this pile of moldable clay. If you get lost, the base parameters as programmed for each algorithm can be found in the Program Notes.
Nice work Brock!
As I’m sure you know, people have been asking for something like this since the first day the H90 was released.
This is incredible, thank you Brock!
This is awesome. Thank you Brock! You are a legend.
