Clock module for Orac 2.0 (Organelle) based on the Ableton Link object [abl_lnk~] with elements from clockswingx, with start/stop (aux) reset (C1) and record functions (controls Capture and Cassette), with a minimal UI, a “signature” setting (sending a bang for modules on reset), swing 8,16 and jitter settings with visual feedbacks on one page :
aux : start/stop
C1 : reset (controls Transport and Cassette modules)
C#1 : record (if playing) or arm recording (controls Capture and Cassette modules)
notes from D to A#2 : time signature
B2 : MIDI out
start/stop and signature functions are compatible with some other modules (Capture, Cassette, Cycles, Grids, Sequences, …)
#1 copy transport_1-3.zop into /Patches
#2 reload the Organelle (menu Storage -> Reload)
#3 run “Install transport_1-3…”
(will be installed into /media/orac/usermodules/utility)
v1.4 : major MIDI and Link sync bugfixes and improvements, Jitter (knob4) replaced by Chaos (jitter+drift)
v1.3 : now only working from the Ableton Link object, output sends renamed (s start, s stop, s reset, s record, s arm-record, for controling modules, instead of s midi-start, s midi-stop, … as i added first), other minor improvements
v1.2 : repatching of the module based on the Ableton Link PD object still based on clockswingx, major UI improvements, timeline added (resets on every start)
v1.1 : UI bugfix
Hi Ben Blash, i installed it following instructions but i can’t find the way to modify the tempo (BPM) which doesn’t appear on the top right corner of my screen. How can i fix that?
Hi @adelabi i’m sorry i never had this issue, you should be able to set the tempo by turning the main encoder (at the right of the screen, it’s a bit unusual but it should work), also this module must be loaded on the dedicated orac slot (S1 or S2 i don’t remember) i hope you’ll figure it out ✌️
Any idea what the midi resolution is on this thing? Its having trouble syncing to my drum machine which is set at 24ppq
