THE COUNT — a haunting piano nocturne in D minor
Performed nightly by the Count himself (unless modules + Rings + Plateau)

THE PENDULUM (táncor) cuts one bar from CONDUCTOR’s rising saw (60 BPM, 4/4):
row I half notes -> left-hand bass tolls + resets the arpeggio
row II quarters -> SNAKIA (the bat) takes a step
row III 8ths, gated 1 1 1 . 1 . 1 1 -> the Count picks his next note
row IV 16ths (slight swing) -> broken-chord arpeggio + piong clock
row V only the last 32nd -> the chord turns over just before each downbeat

CRYPT KEEPER (mr. chainkov) walks a learned root progression:
Dm -> Bbm -> Gm -> Am -> Dm … (Fm and deceptive turns appear)
TOWERS row A adds the chord shape to the root: R, 5, m10, 8 (all minor = haunted)
CHORD GRIMOIRE (pianoid) shows the chord -> Split -> Sequential Switch
-> LEFT HAND Rings rolls R-5-10-8 in 16ths.
THE COUNT (mr. chainkov) was taught a Toccata-style D-minor line
(A G A, G F E D C# D …). AVOIDER keeps him off minor 2nds and
tritones against the current chord (chord tones allowed).
THE COUNT’S HAND (pianoid) shows each note he plays.

The Rings voices strike when their pitch changes (strum unpatched), so
repeated notes simply ring on like a held key.

THE BAT (SNAKIA, bouncer mode) and the PENDULUM GAME (piong) play each other:
bat head Y/tail Y move the paddles; a lost ball on the left re-rolls
TOWERS row B = the Count’s mood (more randomness in his melody).
SÉANCE (ATOMS) slowly rotates which spirit (bat X, bat Y, ball Y) touches
which piano: arp position, melody brightness, bass damping.

Turn up the volume slowly: PRE-MUTER fades in 2 s after load.
