Spectdrum 2.60: Native OSC Surface for the Multiband Gate Sequencer

The official TouchOSC surface for Spectdrum, a plugin with OSC built in. Tap steps, draw envelopes and switch patterns, with live feedback from the plugin.

This is the TouchOSC surface for Spectdrum, my multiband gate sequencer plugin (VST3 and AU, Windows and macOS). Spectdrum runs a two-way OSC server inside the plugin, so the surface talks to it directly. No MIDI mapping, no bridge.

From the surface you can tap steps on and off and set their velocity and gate length, draw the envelopes, switch and copy pattern slots, roll the pattern dice, load presets and run the transport. The plugin sends its state back, so the grid, the playheads and the pattern thumbnails always show what’s actually playing.

The same file also comes with the plugin: open Spectdrum once and it lands in Documents > Spectdrum > TouchOSC, and the “TouchOSC surface” button in Preferences opens that folder. On the same computer, connect to 127.0.0.1, sending on port 9030 and receiving on 9020.

For a tablet or phone, switch on “OSC from a tablet or phone” in Spectdrum’s Preferences and use your computer’s IP address instead.

Needs Spectdrum 2.60 or later. The free demo works with it too.
