New Patterns for PLAY Patches

14 new patterns for the new Organelle ‘PLAY’-style patches! Add a few (or all!) to the ‘patterns’ folder in a PLAY patch.

Initial Release: July 31 2026

Note: These 14 patterns were included in the ‘Energia’ and ‘Vega’ patches released on the same day.

Requires OS 5. Please customize/organize your patterns as you see fit – just rename the file in the order you want them to appear. This can be done using the Organelle’s web editor/interface. Please see the manual for more information:

Thank you! That is some really cool pattern but I just can use them with the two new Vega and Energy patches where they build in from the beginning. On the older PLAY patches I put them in the pattern folder but as there is still just 14 keys on the Organell from where I can choose the patterns. So do I have to choose wich 14 ones I would like to have in each patch or? Then just leave thoose 14 selected ones in each patches pattern folder?

Yes, since there are only 14 possible patterns in the PLAY patches, you will have to decide which 14 patterns you want in each patch. You can arrange the patterns for each patch however you want…the leading letter in the file name (e.g. ‘A-‘) is arbitrary.
