Vult has a 3HP blank panel. Except it’s not blank and has speed, X and Y controls and X and Y outputs. Cleverly this produces the Vult logo on the JW-Modules scope. In this patch I’ve used the X/Y outputs to modulate two Basal smooth oscillators. The output goes through wave destruction (Debriatus) and a dual looping delay from 4ms pinged by a random pulse from the HetrickCV Binary Noise module to give the ghostly background soundscape.
The eerie choir is produced using 4 Basal smooth oscillators whose pitch (V/Oct) is derived from a sample and hold (Leakage) of a mechanical chaos source (Caudal). The sample and hold clock is random provided by a HetrickCV Binary Noise module. The oscillator ouputs are scanned before being fed to a chorus (Jorus) and stereo effect delay. The scanner is controlled by Caudal via a suitable range and offset from a Leakage module.
