This plugin is a generative ambient orchestration engine inspired by the core design concepts of SpaceWalk. Rather than repeating static, pre-recorded patterns, the script acts as an on-the-fly digital composer that autonomously builds fluid, cinematic chord progressions that never quite repeat the same way twice.
Core Architectural Features
Markov Chain Probability Matrix: The plugin doesn’t randomize chord progressions blindly. It uses weighted musical probability rules to determine its next structural destination based entirely on its current state. It focuses on beautiful, spacey modal interchanges (like the \text{\flat VII} chord) to evoke a deep sense of floating.
Asynchronous Voice Drift (Knob 1): Breaks away from traditional, rigid block chords. While the bass voice always anchors the downbeat of a measure, the Tenor, Alto, and Soprano voices receive staggered, randomized internal time-slipped offsets. This causes the notes to drift in independently, weaving an evolving harmonic tapestry.
Automated Symphony Evolution (Knob 2 & Pad 0): Every two full measures, the engine checks its probability matrix to decide whether to smoothly pivot to a new chord.
AUTO Mode: The engine continuously evolves the piece over time.
LOCKED Mode: Freezes the current atmosphere so you can jam over a specific harmonic space indefinitely.
Smart Voice Leading (Knob 3): Monitors note density boundaries across the scale registers. When a new chord is selected, it calculates internal inversions to prevent aggressive octave jumps, keeping individual inner voices moving by minimal steps.
Cinematic Sustain Scale (Knobs 4 & 5): Features an extended gate length scaler tailored for long, overlapping ambient synth releases, driven by a soft velocity curve to maximize the expression of lush AUv3 pads.
