We have been doing this event for an entire year!
this rack is left blank intentionally. the GSG.live community will all download this rack and practice this rack and all preform it the last Wednesday of the month.
VVVVV the challenge VVVVV
What does FIXED RACK mean for you?
We give you a patch file that you use to the best of your ability.
The Candy Bowl
Modules that are OK to duplicate. Some essential tools and some to add extra flair.
One Cheat
You may include one module of your choice to personalize your patch(es). Each patch can have its own cheat. If you really want to use a hardware or DAW sequencer, use your cheat to do it!
Inside the fixed rack there are two sections:
On the RIGHT you will find “The Candy Bowl”. Use as many copies of these modules as you wish.
On the LEFT is the main rack. You may not copy any modules in this section, but you are free to move things around to fit the candy or for organization. You can drag the edges of the blank panels to resize them.
As with all our fixed racks, we tried to make something that can function well on all systems, but if you need to bypass or delete modules, that’s totally fine!
Just for completeness: This is for VCVRaid 013 + there were some optional challenges included on the GSG discord:
1) Diet Challenge: Limit candy bowl items to one copy each
2) Straight Arrow Challenge: No cheat module
3) Single Lane Challenge: No polyphony
4) Nerf Challenge: Remove 20 modules from the main portion of the rack (some modules don’t count) [all that change signal path except for MIDI, SL Comp (Comp 2 counts), and MM Auxspander]
5) What is Music Challenge: No sequencers (if you can build one from other modules that’s OK)
6) VCV Masochist Challenge: Follow all 5 of the above challenges, and only use one cable color
