FX: Eight Reverbs

Eight reverb like snapshots. Tested against regular (bright) piano and my old Fender Strat (clean amp sim). Snapshots 6, 7 and 8 might be more suitable to regular synth sounds (these are the ones with different cutoffs per tap). Felt piano tends to get a bit lost and muddy.

Mostly Harold Budd like reverb washes with a few small rooms thrown in. Note that on some snapshots feedback may become a problem producing some sort of background drone. If so, just reduce the feedback until it sounds right for you. Some delay tap modulation is in there to prevent this, and feedback levels have chosen to try to minimize problems.

This project started with five taps being modulated at 0.5% to prevent feedback issues with tails. As I progressed and added more and more taps, I didn’t add more modulation – in some cases the 0.5% modulation was way to much. So this is rather a one size fits all approach.

Great snapshots, thanks for sharing! I tried with a felt piano first before reading your description, I liked the darkness of it !
