I was really into the Basinski tapes. For those who aren’t familiar he was an artist who put a small piece of cassette tape on a loop that goes around a post so it rubs the magnetic part of the tape off as it plays. It eventually sonicly falls apart in kind of a beautiful way. This is an attempt to replicate those magnetic tape bits falling off feeling w Drambo.
This is very different from just increasing an effect send up since you’re dynamically losing data every time it reprocesses/resamples itself again.
I really like how different parts of the audio can slowly stand out or fall apart / fade as it goes along.
Instructions:
Add any audio source (works with live audio too)
Set the loop time length first, let it run for a bit and then tap TAPE LOOP to start destructive looping.
Beepstreet radio unit auv3 ambient stations are great for input :)
Big thanks to @rs2000 for greatly enhancing the tape fx chain and making it really sound authentic.

Brillant! Working now.
The patch continuously reprocesses its own output. Each pass slightly Eaglercraft alters the signal, mimicking magnetic tape losing information over time.
Here’s an alternate version of it that has stepped instead of smooth design. This might sound closer to the basinski tape loop
