Mog Why

A modulated delay backed by a synthesizer-like tremolo pad of granulated and pitch-shifted reverb tails.

Discovered while aimlessly playing around with different types of modules. It reminded me of the sounds used by the awesome scottish Band Mogwai on their recent albums (as for example on the track “Every Country’s Sun”).

The “synth” pad (actually it´s a 100% reverb) can be switched on and off. So the patch can initially be used as an atmospheric delay, with the option of cascading pad sounds available if required.

The mixing levels for pad and delay can be set on the second page, bottom row.

Use it, love it. (I do both.) Happy to give back something to the community.

I just updated the first version as not everybody´s using an exp switch. All available functions can now be activated by the Zoia´s internal footswitches.

Stereo in and out.
Left stompswitch: Tap tempo (delay and grainsize, defining the tremolo rate)
Middle stompswitch: Pad on/off

Requires firmware 5.00
