Simple Pre-Amp utility patch that I built in order to record with my friend Faith this past month. Wanting to record her DI’d acoustic guitar at line level with my interface, I realized the ZOIA has enough output gain (20db) to bring an instrument level up to line level.

Signal is mono on the left input, flows through OD > EQ > Compressor before hitting the output where 20db of gain is applied. Because of the gain increase at the output, it is not recommended to use this patch with a guitar or bass amp, rather it is specifically used to increase instrument level signals to line level for purposes of recording.
