For the VCVRack StarshipSoundtrack Challenge July 2024 over at https://community.vcvrack.com/t/starshipsoundtrack-challenge-july-2024/22412
This VCV Rack patch came about when I was watching videos to learn techniques for this Starship challenge and… someone showed the Pigs module on the screen for a brief moment. My brain jumped into hyperdrive and remembered the old Muppet Show segment, Pigs in Space!
Based totally on a silly idea, I’ve incorporated Pigs, Phaser, Galaxy, Tricorder, Warp Core, Morse Code (Morze) and Froliced with some Tangents. Make sure you listen carefully as the “vocals” change between an R2 Unit and Phonetic Alphabet.
Right now the Morze module won’t save the text that is entered, so feel free to enter Oinks in Orbit to match what the video is playing.
Also, you can adjust the Harmonizer from 70% to 80% to change between spoken letters and phonetic alphabet.
