Insert Mode Program. Configured for Series Routing. Program MIX 40-45% (via EXP1). Vintage Delay into ModFilter. Programmed for stereo use.
It’s almost ubiquitous to see a filter modulation over current delay line effects. Less common to find an envelope follower controlling that filter. It seems to me that decaying feedback is the perfect fit for a triggered envelope.
EXP1 sweeps Program Mix, Mod Depth and Mod Speed in Vintage Delay, with Sensitivity / Speed in ModFilter. EXP2 (optional) decreases Bits in Vintage Delay, while increasing Depth Mod and Speed Mod in ModFilter (saved at Heel).
All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:
* [P] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Vintage Delay – Delay A and B [default = 45].
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Vintage Delay Feedback A and B [default = 34].
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust ModFilter depth and Shape [default = 80].
Other options include momentary and latching REPEAT in Vintage Delay, and Retrigger LFO with Brake/Speed for ModFilter. HS1 switches ModFilter’s filter Type to High Pass.
See the Program Notes for more information on the PERFORM switch mappings.
