This is a 6 sound drum machine with sequencer, midi clock OR tap tempo supported. The samples are my own DW drum kit (samples made ages ago and shortened to support limited RAM of Zoia).
Generally colors mean:
1 Red = Kick, 2 Purple=Snare, 3&4 Mango = closed & open hi hat, 5 Yellow = Crash, 6 Purple = Tom Rack
Page 0 – Seq1:
First 3 rows= 16 step, 6 track sequencer
Remaining Grid
4,1 = Midi Clock Input
5,1 = select midi clock for sequencer
4,2 = tap tempo button for manual clock control
5,2 = select manual clock for sequencer
5,3 = Sequencer Stop (no clock passed to sequencer)
Page 1 – Mixer:
6 track mixer with pans (note: open and closed hats are on same mixer channel).
mixer is Mono so (stereo) samples are summed to mono and can be panned via the mixer.
Signal Chain: Mixer > Compressor > Plate Reverb > Analog Output
Page 2 – Samp1:
Each line is a Sampler (kick is on bottom row=5); Last button is a manual trigger for that row’s sample

[note, I had the goal of adding more samples such as a floor tom and ride, but ran out of RAM)

You can play midi notes with an external midi controller. The notes are mapped to General Midi Note Numbers:
Kick 36, Snare 38, Hat Closed 42, Hat Open 46, Crash 49, Tom Hi 48

This page controls which clock is used via an In Switch and and a Sample and Hold controlled from the the buttons on bottom row of Page 0

Learned it isnt sample size that matters. You just cant have more than 5 or 6 samplers in a patch. so next step is to learn how to play sample time slices so a single sampler can play multiple samples all stored in one wave form. that would be a lot easier if the zoia had a fixed value control with a trigger input. sample and hold is close, so will try that.
