Eventide’s Spring algorithm is fine but it just doesn’t get drippy enough for surf guitar. It’s missing that spring ping slap back that the old Fender reverb tanks have that defined the sound.

So I had the bright idea to toss a quick delay slapback “ping” in front of the Spring algorithm and I think the result was pretty convincing.

I set up the expression pedal to go from no verb to deep verb.

Also, don’t sleep on the fact that the Spring algorithm has a vintage trem built in so you can bring that in for extra surf flavor.

Let me know if you feel this makes the H90 just a tad more surf-guitar ready?

Side Note: I had to reupload a few times because I noticed a Bouquet Delay patch bug where if you had the delay at 75ms and exported the patch, sometimes it would come in at 128ms.

I think I worked around this by setting it to 76ms but please eyeball it for me if you try it out.
