Insert Mode Program – Series Routing. Uses Insert 1 (unconnected) in Parallel for passing the dry input signal. Programmed for stereo use.
Riff rock. PitchFuzz into Polyphony stacks dry, fuzzy OD, strong 5th harmonics, and octave up. 6 total voices are slightly detuned + spread out over time and soundstage position.
EXP1 to Toe for +2 octave squeals. It also sweeps fuzz, tone, several pitches, levels, panning, and detune depths. Can be used in conjunction with the PERFORM options below [FREEZE, echoes, etc.].
One example: Toe Down + HS1(M) tapping = Panic Alarm.
Other options available are clean, 6-voice detuning around Unison, momentary or latching spread delays with feedback, momentary dropped octaves, and FREEZE on both Polyphony voices. See the Program Notes for complete information on the PERFORM switch mappings.

This program is acting strangely. It loads with no audible fx, just my unprocessed guitar tone. Turning the various effect knobs in the pitchfuzz also makes difference in sound. When I bypass the Pitchfuzz patch the Polyphony starts up.
When the pitchfuzz isn’t in bypass if I turn the mix to 100% it gets silent. Bringing the mix to 0 is my pure unprocessed tone. I tried re-downloading and am getting the same results.
HS1 and HS2 are also silent. HS3 does load and I’m getting tone/fx shaping when I adjust the knobs in the pitchfuzz.
Maybe it’s just my H90 acting weird. If anyone else has similar behavior drop a comment.
Let me looks into it, Brent. 1st thought is that I set the Gate Threshold very high in PitchFuzz. You can try lowering it, and see if that helps.
2nd thought is perhaps I inadvertently uploaded a modified one. I always do a final check before uploading, by running a Program through all its paces. Maybe I changed something in the process (it has happened before).
It was the gate threshold! I started hearing my guitar around -20 db. It seems to be in a better spot at around -30db on the LP style guitar I’m currently playing.
Thanks for following up, Brent. Threshold parameters get very tricky when trying to cover all kinds of rigs. The same issue crops up with compression-based Presets. I thought you might be using a Strat. The intent here was to have the fuzz just hit the note attacks, then fade out gradually, yet quickly.
But I should’ve known better. I was also using an LP-style, except I was hitting the front end hard with hot P/Us, a MultiWave boost, and at line level. I should make a note / modify the Program with a compromise value for Gate Threshold.
I haven’t really used a gate on my guitar before. I didn’t even think to look at that parameter. But as soon as you said it I was certain that was going to be it. I feel like everyday I’m getting a little better understanding of how the H90 works. One of these day’s I’ll create a program or two and share them on here.
I do tend to favor single coil guitars with lower outputs. My LP style guitar has lower output PAF style pickups so they’re not too hot.
Better late than never. I finally updated the Program with a -32 dB Gate Threshold, for better compatibility. Thanks for pointing this out, Brent.
