This piece started out from the tuning and detuning of chords generated by the Blamsoft XFX Wave. Its not a natural sound, especially going from detuned to tuned but it has a very natural soulful effect that I have built on with a rather mournful lament that left me imagining the depths of the ocean as they appear from a bathyscope.
