EFDverb

I started to study algorithmic reverbs, and instead of using Pure Data or MAX, ZOIA has been my platform of experimentation.

This time, I patched a reverb based on the Feedback Delay Network algorithm of Michael Gerson:

https://worldradiohistory.com/Archive-All-Audio/Archive-Studio-Sound/70s/Studio-Sound-1971-12.pdf

and inspired by the Erbeverb reverb designed by Tom Erbe and Make Noise.

Stereo in (summed to mono), stereo out. It make some crack noises when changing the damp parameter because of the multi-filters used, but it works well when changing every other parameter.

All the controls are in the first page, and is pretty much the only page you will need to visit (unless yo want to change input and output modules in the top of the second page). They have a broader range than usual, so high settings can be pretty weird.

Controls:

DECAY: Control de amount of reverb. At max it freeze the signal, but it can self oscillate depending on the input gain.
SIZE: Increase the size of the reverb.
DIFFUSE: Control the diffusion of the all pass filters.
PRE DELAY: Control the pre delay of the input into the reverb. Max time is 1s.
MOD SPEED: It is pretty self explanatory.
MOD DEPTH: It is pretty self explanatory.
DAMP: Control the amount of high frequencies into the reverb.
MIX: Mix control between dry and wet signal.

I’ll appreciate every comment or feedback :)

Ps. I’ll continue to develop this algorithm, so there will be future revisions.
