Ring Mod Guitar

This patch has a clean guitar sound with a kind of univibe effect using a few Rackwindows modules, then two demonstrations of ring modulation. Using ‘The One Ring’ module, the guitar signal is acting as the modulator, with VCOs acting as the carrier, and everything is doubled for separate effects on the left and right channels, giving a wider stereo sound. The pitch of the VCOs is modulated using randomly clocked sample and hold, which creates kind of random ring modulated notes whilst playing. This is on channel 8 of the mixer, then channels 1 and 2 have the Rackwindows effects, which have a delay from the Chronoblob modules fed through the XFX filter in RM (ring modulation) mode. The filter cutoff is fed some sample and hold to make the ring mod produce tinkling random frequencies.
