Well I thought I would use the signal flow diagram to create this in VCV Rack. I have an approximation of it on this patch. However it is running hot from the Grains FX module, so put Peak in between that and Plateau, it seems to work. But would a compressor work better.
Also is 8FO a good method of interfacing the sound source? I don’t have a problem with that but are there different ones I could use?

I guess caudal is always worth trying (such an amazing module), walk2 from bogaudio (or a few walk modules clocked together).
