Arp 2600 Emulation – Mutable Instruments – Template

This is a basic template emulating the features of the Arp 2600 using only Mutable/Audible Instruments modules. I haven’t made anything I’m happy with as I’m only a beginner. Maybe it’ll inspire someone else.

Completely inspired from a video by Cinematic Laboratory so all credit to them for the concept and build.

Enjoy.

For a beginner you sure have started big! Well done you! When I started back in the dark days of March this year, I only managed to get vague twinkly drones at best but slowly you can pick up knowledge from the Grandmasters like Omri Cohen, VCV Rack ideas and Klirrfactory, all these do tutorials on YouTube.
All things are possible, keep at it!

I miss the basic patching here. I have no Idea how to connect all these in a 2600 way.

Hey Ari, yeah I feel you. A daunting task to patch this. (hence why I posted as a template at the time and I knew a lot less about synthesis/signal flow back then)

It’s a weird thing to translate a semi-modular synth in VCV due to the normalized signal path.

Anyways, I opened the patch again and simplified it to how I’d approach doing something like this now. Left room for expansion for additional 2 voices if I come back to it another time. Thanks for the comment.
