In this patch I tried to build something that would allow you to do live performance using only the keyboard keys. With the new module “Stroke” from Stoermelder you could for example mute mixer channels. With the help of a sequence module, which can be triggered by a keypress, the volume in the mixer or any other knobs can be adjusted up and down. Unfortunately my construction is not quite fully developed. The Sequence module has an overflow, of course. So, when the sequence reaches the end, it starts again from the beginning. That means, if you go up too far, the mixer control will automaticly go down again and vice versa. If someone comes up with a solution to avoid this overflow I would be very interested :)
To test my mixer construction I just assembled something random. Sounded a bit crazy when I finished, so I called the patch life is a crazy nut ^^’. When you open the patch you have to click on the reset button in the clocked module to configure the words for the numbers. To make sure that something happens when you press the buttons on your keyboard, the VCV Rack window has to be focused. Just click somewhere in the VCV Rack window with the mouse cursor.
