Omri Cohen’s first patch from his video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvMzRR-98H0) introduces the Prok drum modules for VCV Rack. Building from this, I doubled each of the 5 modules (Kick, Snare, Hats, Klang, and Clap) with different banks of presets for each. The switching between banks is managed by 8Face, one per Prok module, to allow crazy shuffling of the sounds.

The drums are sequenced by Topology with 8Face providing preset sequencing of the sequencer. The bass line is sequenced by dTroy, and performed live as recorded. During this part of the production, I discovered a “feature” of 8Face, namely that it has issues changing dTroy presets (Pitch CV in particular), bringing in unexpected higher pitches, which can be quite the buzzkill!
