Ikbi= Create in Chickasaw
Ikbi is a dual looper meant to create an atmosphere and ambiance.
Explaining how it works is kind of difficult. But I’ll do my best. However, I really suggest watching the technical demo below to get the best idea.
You’ll need to switch to analog mode. Also, all parameters are controlled with an expression pedal/slider.
Basically, the first looper is controlled with the right foot switch. You have 6 different parameters you alter for your loop. 3 of which also affect your dry signal.
1) “Red Indicator Light” Loop speed/pitch- this is the red light at the top left. Moving the expression pedal forward slowly(!) you rotate through an octave down, 5th down, 3rd down. Then when the expression pedal is all the way forward you rotate back to standard pitch. Rocking the pedal back will not affect this parameter. Only rocking it forward. After rocking the expression pedal all the way forward and returning to standard pitch. You can rock the expression pedal back then repeat the action to cycle through a 3rd above, a 5th above, an octave above, then back to standard. Keep in mind, changing the loop pitch on the first parameter speeds or slows the loop respectively.
2) “Green Indicator Light” Loop Length- This effects the length of your loop. You can use this to cut your loop shorter. I find it useful to get a loop on time by cutting it a little short. Or to cut out the last part of a loop that I may have messed up.
3) “Yellow Indicator Light” Forward/Reverse- Self-explanatory.
4) “Magenta Indicator Light” Pitch- Same as loop speed/pitch, however, this will not affect the speed. Only the pitch. You will also still hear your original pitch in parallel with the pitch effect. This affects your dry signal as well.
5) “Aqua Indicator Light” Granular Delay- It’s granular. It’s a delay. The more you rock the expression pedal forward, the more the effect there is. All the way into a bit crushy kinda territory. This affects your dry signal as well.
6) “Blue Indicator Light” Freeze- Freeze your current signal. When this is on. Granular Delay is disabled. This affects your dry signal as well.
Pitches for 1 and 6 are assigned accordingly:
Octave +/- “Magenta”
5th +/- “Blue”
3rd +/- “Aqua”
Standard “White”
Right Foot Switch- controls Looper 1
Middle Foot Switch- cycles through parameters
Left Foot Switch- controls Looper 2
4 Red lights in the top right corner indicate when you are recording onto Looper 1. If you record longer than 16 seconds. You will have to scroll through the pages to the Looper 1 module and reset it manually so it will sync back up with the 4 indicator lights.
Lights on the second row from the bottom show how long your loop for Loop 1 is. Each light represents 2 seconds.
To clear the first looper. Make sure you are not recording, then while making sure it is not receiving any audio signal, double tap the Right Foot Switch.
The 3 lights at the bottom right are your second looper (Looper 2). After you record onto Looper 2 the first time, anytime the farthest bottom right square is white, you are recording. If green, it is in playback mode. After ending your loop on Looper 2 the first time. It will automatically go into overdub mode. You will need to double tap it the first time to go straight into play mode. After recording your first loop. It is just a single tap to go from overdub to play. Take your time, mess around with it. You’ll get it.
To clear Looper 2 press the Left and Middle Foot Switch. Press the Left Foot Switch just a fraction quicker to avoid changing parameters.

I’ve made an image of the controls as well. More direction to follow soon.

Cool effect, thanks for this
@Nick_Capron thank you so much! Glad someone else out there is digging it!
