21BASIC VCV singing bowls mallet

This patch aims to demonstrate the shorter impulse-like sound when a mallet is hitting the rim of a singing bowl. Compared to the circular motion which causes a bowl to sing a mallet creates a short percussive sound.
In this patch a random module’s TRIG output is used to create a random GATE – by sending the TRIG output to a delay a 2nd “echo” TRIG pulse is created. The TIME on the delay modules adjusts the length of the gate (the time between the two trigs).
In order to use the “double-trig” the MIX output of the DELAY is sent to a sequential switch as its CLK (clock) input. The inputs on the switch are 0V (nothing patched) and 10V (from an 8VERT output).
The original RANDOM TRIG switches the switch to HIGH (10V), the delayed TRIG switches it to LOW (0V), and this signal is used to trigger an ADSR which stays in the “key pressed” phase for the duration of the DELAY TIME.
