Click a lane to arm it — Rec, Undo and Clear act on that track only; Play and Stop move everything, the loops and the drums together (use the per-track MUTE to pick what you hear). Play or Rec starts the transport; Drums in the header is the kit’s own on/off; with it off, Click gives you a metronome on every beat instead. Every take counts a bar in — the click is the only thing you hear while it does — then the loop and the groove both start from the top. The loop length (set from the bar counter in the header) closes the take automatically after that many bars; the lane counts the bars as it records. Click a recorded lane to play from that point, or drag its edges to trim — snapped to beats, hold Shift for a free drag.

Play here runs the kit on its own, without moving the loops; Stop silences it. Click a cell to cycle rest → soft → normal → accent; right-click clears it. Editing takes the groove over from the factory pattern — Revert puts it back. Name it and press SAVE (or Enter) to keep it as one of your own; your grooves live in the list under ≡ on every board.
