Yet another single VCO generative Patch.
I’m still exploring the limits of a single VCO patch.
An attempt to re-create a simplified version of a really nice module from Doepfer I have in my rack: The A-115.
In a few words, it’s like a clock divider, but for audio signals.
The subdivided waves are then mixed together, along with the original signal, after it has been converted to a pulse wave.
Each subdivision can be attenuated, as in a regular mixer.
My version, of course, follows my beloved paradigm of “generative synthesis”.
As usual, overlaying some time-delayed instances (i.e.: 30 secs or more per
layer) enrichens the overall experience – try to match (or cleverly mismatch)
the rhythms, if any.
