STRINGS COLLIDER ULTIMATE v1.0 is an expressive orchestral-string performance instrument, sequencer and sound-design patch for the Critter & Guitari Organelle.

Presets include String Section, Violin Lead, Viola, Cello, Contrabass, Pizzicato, Spiccato, Tremolo, Harmonics, Cinematic and Dark Strings.

Highlights:

* expressive bowed-string engine
* dedicated acoustic-style Pizzicato engine
* LIVE / SEQ sound split with LINK / SPLIT modes
* separate LIVE octave control
* A/B/AB sequencer for 16- or 32-step phrases
* per-step locks
* LEGATO, BOW ACCENT and SWELL performance articulations
* optional footswitch support for BOW ACCENT / SWELL
* shared FX and memory system
* Universal launcher architecture for Organelle M / S / S2 generations

The footswitch is completely optional. Strings Collider is fully playable and programmable directly from the Organelle.

Performance controls

AUX + Wood 1 — LEGATO on/off
AUX + Wood 2 — BOW ACCENT
AUX + Wood 3 — SWELL

Optional footswitch:

* hold a LIVE note + short tap = BOW ACCENT
* hold a LIVE note + hold pedal = SWELL
* without a held LIVE note, the pedal does nothing

A / B / AB Sequencer

A and B are two independent 16-step patterns.

Wood 19 cycles:

A → B → AB → A

AB plays A followed by B continuously for a 32-step phrase.

While in AB, AUX + Wood 19 chooses whether you are editing A or B.

LIVE octave

AUX + Wood 17 — octave down
AUX + Wood 18 — octave up
AUX + Wood 19 — reset

Range: -3 to +2.

Compatibility

Hardware-tested on Organelle S2 / OS 4.4.

The Universal compatibility layer is included for Organelle M / S / S2 and newer Bookworm / OS 5.1 systems. Existing working SuperCollider systems are left unchanged; newer systems can use the integrated compatibility repair path.
