Snow Day — a generative patch I made because it was snowing

I threw this patch together as snowflakes started falling last Thursday. (It’s been a good long while since we’ve had a real snowfall in WV, and I was excited.)

The patch consists of two voices: one is a burst-generator-driven sequenced voice, made from a duty-cycled sine. The other is a square wave, driven by a separate clock which draws notes from a switch bank.

The two are mixed, and then pass through a delay and reverb. (During the livestream linked below I used my patch, Parts, extensively as well.)

The patch is inspired by in part by the patch @ANDREW HUANG used to demonstrate useful generative techniques in this video: https://youtu.be/uNz1XfVfJak
