Flip Flop

The idea behind this patch was to create a delay that would alternate between a reverse delay and a forward delay. The patch has been designed to be super user friendly but there are some things you need to know:

The first page is the key to this patch. Each row controls a different parameter and they all (except the delay feedback) start at zero so you will have to dial them in when you start the patch. The Aqua Rows are for Delay and the Yellow Row controls the Reverb:

Row 1 – Delay Mix
Row 2 – Delay Feedback
Row 3 – Delay Mod Rate
Row 4 – Delay Mod Depth
Row 5 – Reverb Mix

The buttons in each row are generally off if you push the far left button and most extreme if you push the second to last button within the row with everything in the middle in between.

The left footswitch works as the tap tempo but the patch will also accept midi clock.

Rev 1 – Attempted to fix a glitch where loopers would get out of phase if using tap tempo or midi clock after patch is loaded (for some reason it works fine if the clock is running prior to the patch being loaded). I’m not sure it worked. If the loops sound choppy on loading the patch they are out of phase. Go to loop 2 and hit the rec/play toggle one time. That seems to fix it.

There is a bug that ‘magically’ toggles the Looper’s REC/PLAY button, so tapping it manually probably only temporarily fixes it.
At higher LFO rates (so shorter recording times) it seems to occur more often.
I’ve opened a ticket for this, cause it’s really limiting the use of automated Loopers.

Hi, is the delay on this supposed to sound super distorted? I can’t figure out a way for it to be cleaner! 🙈 I love the way it’s set up though
